// CHANGELOG
What's changed
Every version of LensBug that ships gets an entry here: what it adds, what it fixes and what it changes, including the small things. If a release ever touches your privacy or the price, it will say so here in plain words, not just in the App Store's notes.
Version 1.0
First release · LensBug for iOS 17.6 and later
The first public version.
- Live filters. Every filter renders in the viewfinder as you frame, not afterwards. Front and back cameras, flash, zoom, tap to focus, 4:3, 16:9 or 1:1, and an optional live histogram.
- Fifteen filters. Free: TERMINAL, GLITCH, PIXEL, THRESH and THERMAL, plus RAW. Premium: CRT.SCAN, SYNTHSKL, NEON.BAR, HOLO, GBOY, LED.GRID, INFRA, BRISTLE, ASCII and CIRCUIT. Each has its own slider.
- Video. Records with the filter and the sound burned in.
- FREQ. Audio-reactive mode. It listens for the beat on the device and pushes the filter with it, in five modes: SAT, HUE, CRUSH, SPLIT and PARAM. Nothing is recorded.
- 2X double exposure. Two shots blended with SCREEN, ADD or MULTIPLY, with a live ghost of the first to line up the second.
- Edit. Change the filter, intensity and slider on a photo after you take it. Crop is free for everyone.
- Location tag. Off unless you turn it on. When it's on, the photo you save carries where it was taken, so Photos can place it on its map.
- Premium. A one-time $3.99 unlock, not a subscription. Restore it on a new device, or redeem a code if someone gave you one.
- Privacy. LensBug collects no data. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. The privacy policy has the detail.
