How do I record video?
Press and hold the capture button. Recording starts on the hold and stops when you let go, with the filter and audio written straight into the file. Video capture is part of the premium unlock.
FREQ isn't reacting to my music
FREQ listens through the microphone rather than reading what your phone is playing, so the music needs to be audible in the room, so headphones won't drive it. Check that LensBug has microphone permission in Settings, and that the track has some actual low end; beat detection keys off the bass.
Why can't I use FREQ and double exposure together?
They both reshape the capture pipeline in ways that fight each other, so turning one on switches the other off. It's deliberate: running them together produced results neither mode could explain.
Where do my photos go?
Straight to your device's photo library, at full resolution with the filter already applied. LensBug keeps no separate copy and has nowhere else to put one.
I paid already. How do I get it back on a new phone?
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on. The unlock is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so it restores permanently at no extra cost.
The screen says camera access is denied
LensBug needs the camera to show a viewfinder at all. Go to Settings › LensBug on your device and turn Camera on. If you're running it in the iOS Simulator, there is no camera hardware to open and this screen is expected.
What does the slider under each filter do?
Every filter exposes one slider of its own: scanline density on CRT.SCAN, chaos on CIRCUIT, block size on LED.GRID, palette on THERMAL. Advanced parameter control is part of the premium unlock; filter intensity is free.
Can I filter a photo I already took?
Yes. Open the archive from the camera screen, pick a shot, and the editor lets you apply any filter you have access to, adjust intensity, and share the result.
Reporting a bug
Useful things to include: your device model, your iOS version, which filter was selected, and whether FREQ or double exposure was active. If the viewfinder froze or the app quit, say what you were doing in the few seconds before. That detail is usually what makes it reproducible.
